🌟 Hello! My name is India and I'm an American TEFL-certified English teacher living in "la ville rose," my favorite city in the world: Toulouse, France. I moved here about 3 years ago and despite almost 10 years of prior French classes, the transition into a life almost completely in French language and culture was quite difficult. Any task or project that required me to leave my apartment were stressful--ordering a croissant at the local boulangerie, stopping by the pharmacy for my allergy medications, going to my visa medical appointment, opening a bank account... There were so many times when I felt discouraged, even hopeless. However, these experiences have been transformative. They've not only shaped my life but also profoundly altered my perspective on the world and my place within it. Through this blog, I aim to share my insights and tips with you, so that you can overcome similar hurdles and achieve fluency in English. Learning a language can and should be fun!
